DealWheelz is a marketplace for used cars and bikes listed by private sellers and dealers in Jammu & Kashmir. Our address is Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir.

Information you provide

When you sign in, we use account information provided through our sign-in provider, including your account identifier and the name, email address or other details made available through your chosen sign-in method.

When you complete a seller or dealer profile, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, location and profile photograph. Dealer profiles may include a business address, description, owner/manager name, WhatsApp number and optional registration or GST details.

When you create or update a vehicle listing, we collect vehicle details, asking price, location, description and uploaded photographs. If you send an enquiry or contact us for help, we use the information you provide to support that request.

Do not upload identity documents, financial details or information about someone else unless it is needed for the service and you are entitled to share it. Check photographs for personal information before uploading them.

Device information and location

Our service providers may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser/device details and service logs.

You can choose a district manually. If you permit browser location access, the app can use coordinates to choose a nearby district. It may detect location when permission was previously granted and no district choice is stored. You can withdraw that permission in your browser or device settings and continue using manual district selection.

Browser storage and sign-in

The website stores saved vehicle references, saved searches and your chosen district in local browser storage. Your sign-in provider also uses cookies or similar session mechanisms to keep sign-in working. Your browser may cache app assets when using the PWA.

You can remove saved items through the available controls or clear site data in your browser. Clearing site data may sign you out or remove saved choices on that device. Signing out does not necessarily clear saved searches or district preferences.

Why we use information

We use relevant information to provide sign-in and profiles, display listings and dealer information, support vehicle discovery, route enquiries, administer listing/account reviews, communicate about the service, and maintain security. Optional location helps select a district. Information sent to support is used to handle that request.

DealWheelz does not collect payments or fees through the website. Do not send payment credentials to us through listings, enquiries or support messages.

Public information and sharing

Vehicle listings and dealer profiles are intended to be viewed by other people. Details you choose to include in published descriptions and images may be public.

Our application uses Clerk for authentication, Supabase for stored service records, Cloudinary for uploaded images, and a Resend integration for transactional email when configured. These providers process information required for their functions.

If you choose Call, WhatsApp or email, the relevant external app/provider handles the communication under its own terms and privacy policy. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to respond to a legitimate security or legal request, subject to applicable law.

How long information is kept

Our vehicle-data policy is to delete vehicle data 30 days after a vehicle is marked sold or removed by the user.

Other people's messages, downloaded photographs or third-party copies may not be under our control. Browser storage remains on your device until cleared or removed through available controls.

Your choices and requests

You can use available profile and listing controls to update information, manage listings and change saved choices. To request access, correction, deletion or help with privacy concerns, email Aman at dealwheelzjk@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant account or listing; do not email passwords or one-time codes.

Keeping information secure

We use account access controls and service-provider safeguards to protect information. No internet service can promise absolute security. Keep sign-in credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
